Ryanair launches first buy one get one free sale

Ryanair has launched its initially “invest in one particular, get one particular free” sale in a bid to increase flagging passenger numbers.

Clients who ebook a flight before midnight on Thursday for vacation up to December 14 on 1,600 routes will get a second ticket at no excess value.

The move follows the airline’s selection to further decrease functions owing to coronavirus vacation constraints.

Its potential in Oct will be 40pc of 2019 concentrations, in comparison with the 50pc it beforehand announced.

Ryanair chief government Michael O’Leary said demand for future bookings was awful.

“Into November and December our ahead bookings are working at all-around 10pc – that’s about a quarter of the place they would commonly be at this time of the year,” he advised Sky News.

“We are not able to rule out work losses but in Ryanair we’re surely desperately working with our people to avert them.”
