Ross Stores Promotes Adam Orvos to CFO

Ross Merchants promoted Adam Orvos to government vice president and main monetary officer, powerful October 1. 

Orvos joined the retailer in January as group senior vice president of offer chain administration. As CFO, Orvos will be responsible for the retailer’s accounting, treasury, fiscal scheduling, tax, company social obligation, and investor relations capabilities. 

His 34 many years of retail management experience includes serving as finance main of Neiman Marcus, Belk Department Retailers, and the Foley’s division of The Could Division Merchants Business. He has also held senior government roles at Lowe’s and Whole Wine & A lot more.

“Adam is a talented senior executive who brings many years of monetary management and a wide operational history to his new placement of CFO for Ross,” reported Barbara Rentler, chief executive officer.  “We are assured that his verified fiscal management expertise, enterprise acumen, and deep knowledge of the retail industry will be important assets as he assumes this significant function for the enterprise.”

Orvos replaces Travis Marquette, who resigned in July to consider above as president and main operating officer of Burlington Suppliers. Marquette joined Ross in 2008 and held a range of roles which include team senior vice president, deputy CFO, and senior vice president of finance.

Because Marquette left Ross, the company’s finance executives have documented to chief operating officer Michael Hartshorn.
