

As part of the corporatisation of the Ordnance Factories, the Central governing administration will formally launch 7 new organizations on October 15, informed the Ministry of Defence on Monday.


The government is changing Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) into company entities.







These 7 new defence businesses will have 66 organization contracts really worth Rs 65,000 crore from the 3 expert services and paramilitary forces.


The new firms are – Superior Weapons and Gear India Confined, Troop Comforts Ltd, Avani Armoured Cars, Munitions India Confined, India Optel Limited, Gliders India Minimal, Yantra India Confined.
